I would like to move to England to live and work, but I don't know what the restrictions or qalifications are to work there. Can a US citizen go to England, find the job they want, then get a visa, or do you have to have one ahead of time.

From what I have read....you must have the job first, be of a certain age and have money.

Yes, u can visit, and if you have an offer for a job, they will help u stay legally. You can also try to find a job in England while u r still here, however it's best to go there 1st, so they can get a look at you, and you can get a better feel for the country. Best of luck to ya.
