Wash in hot water and dry them. If that doesn't work I don't think anything will.

I know drying them hot shrinks them good, cuz theyare hard to put on when I get out of the dryer! :) One good point is that you can also keep them in for a longer cycle in the dryer that might help as well.

"Mind the step." "Mind the gap." I love all those polite British reminders. Spent two weeks in Windsor several years ago. No matter where you are, if you wash jeans in hot, hot, hot water, and then put them in a hot drier they will shrink. But, they won't stay shrunk. That's the nature of the material. If you have a sewing machine, you can sew them tighter on the inseams. I've done that and it works well. Wait until they are really baggy and then put them on inside out. Put a row of stick pins along the inseam making them a tight as you want. Then just sew two, long straight lines up the legs! There you have it! Tighter jeans. Next time you buy jeans, remember how baggy they get and buy the tightest you can tolerate. Cheerio, then!
