In America it's usually easier to get into a university if you're from overseas, as we're always promoting cultural diversity. I'd suggest going to the websites of schools that interest you and contacting the different schools individually. I'm sort of in the same situation as you, as I am an American who wishes to attend University in London. :) Please check out my question and also let me know what university you attend, what kind of credentials you needed to get into that school, how you like it, etc.
