Yes, first of all the points need to be from the same REGION not the same country, so if you buy the points from England, France, or even Cyprus (as long as the country is in Europe) they will work. More importantly, the Live Card can be used all over the world. Eg. I have an American account, but I buy my Live from England and it still works.
