I live in the United States but want to go to University in England

I live in the United States but want to go to University in England?
I'm currently a Junior in high school in the US. I've wanted to live in England for a while now, and have been thinking about going to University there after I graduate high school. The money isn't an issue, but I was just wondering if anyone had any help as to what to expect while living there? Also, if there are any website online where I could find apartments in England(like realtor.com for the United States). Thank you!

Glad the money is not an issue, I hope you have told this to your parents. Expect to need about £30000 a year (at least, including fees. For medicine budget for £45000 a year over 6 years).

hi, well England might be a very general area.I lived in UK for 10 years and i could tell you about the lifestyle etc but you will have to tell us which area you are thinking of? Defo London is a great city and choice.Uni and apartments will be more expensive but it s worth it! ;-) If you go north like Manchester is colder ofcourse, cheaper but great for "student" lifestyle.you know?

This is so general a question. It depends so much on what part of England you end up in. As a bachelor's degree course here is only 3 years, the UK tends to be popular with foreign students as it's cheaper - you aren't paying the fees for so long. So you could meet all kinds of people from all over the world. I got to know quite a few Greeks! It'd certainly be an experience as, well, it's just different. This is best answered by someone who has done it - I hope someone does. The UK is as varied as anyone so it's impossible to generalise. British universities have accommodation offices that can help you find somewhere to rent, Otherwise, you'd be looking at local estate agents - they all advertise online.
