What are some jobs that will allow me to live in England

What are some jobs that will allow me to live in England?
I am an American teenager whose parents will not get off my back on how I should live my life. I want to know if there is any careers that will allow me to move to the UK and stay there. I need serious awnsers, please! This is life or death we are talking about and I can't have people say "Marry Prince Harry." I am only seventeen. I also can't afford to study in the UK.

Toilets need cleaning and the good thing is they are allover the world so you don't even need to limit yourself to England.

I think really just about any skill would be welcome here and probably just about any non skill too. Apparently lots of immigrants are filling vacancies we don't want. I know it can seem tough and you won't want a lecture but your parents are probably only wanting the best for you, and although I'm sure you'd soon make lots of friends being so far away from family could be tough. Why not look at ways of being independent back home first. There's plenty of time for looking at big issues like immigration later. To get a taste of life over here you could maybe look at Student Exchange.

There was an American guy who asked a question about why The UK would not allow him to emigrate here. He has been trying for two years and despite being a professional, and an upstanding citizen he keeps being turned down Also as he pointed out, we let the dregs of the world in so why not him? I have no answer to that but from the sound of it you may find it pretty hard to get in here to stay. By the way it is your parents job to be continually "on your back", they would be failing in their duty otherwise. I was on my teenage kids backs constantly but they have turned out decent adults who now thank me for doing it. So give your folks a break, would you rather they didn't care? If you think your folks are bad the government in the UK tells you how to live your life! You really do not want to come here. Stick it out, things will get better for you, leaving your country is not the answer. Good luck x

Ouch; I am sorry to hear home life is a bit sticky. Here are some ideas: look for college programs that offer study abroad. If you are still in high school, your local university extension office may be able to give you information on trips abroad that you may be able to go on. They can probably also give you fundraising and scholarship info. Also, if you are interested in learning other languages, you will have many more opportunities to work (even for American companies) in other countries. You ought to be able to take almost any professional career there and stay put. However, it would be wise to look at the job market. There are programs that combine travel/study or travel/work. For these, you could start at http://www.jobsabroad.com/England.cfm. For more profession-based browsing of UK jobs, see http://www.jobs1.co.uk/. I do have one warning: try to not "run away" from the problems at home. You may all need space and time away from each other, but try to be grateful around your parents. Hopefully, they will be around for many years, but taking off around the world might create hard feelings. Let them know that you really appreciate everything they have taught you and done for you. Gently explain that you need time and space to learn how to live your life and make wise decisions. Then, if you are really serious, move out and learn how to survive on your own. And don't forget to send postcards and pictures occasionally (at least).

Marry Prince Harry and become a princess. I hear it pays well and is a full time position.

Teachers and nurses are top jobs that countries always want more of. If you're just a teenager you could be a carer, helping take care of older people or such. Follow your heart and do what you're passionate about. Visit workpermit.com (link below) and have a look at what skills they're after. You'll have to fiddle with the links a bit.
