Well as you can see, I live in England around Yorkshire and would REALLY want a job involving herpetology but I can't find any British organizations. If you find one please can you give me a link. Thanks!

In addition to zoos, contact universities. You should learn about education needed and jobs available (and what they pay). By the way, I don't think you are goofy

get qualifications to as high a level as possible, get work experience in exotic shops or zoos etc. try and find jobs in zoos that are paid. read as much as poss im sure there will be journals and magazines out there an online groups to get invloved with good luck :-)
