I was born there but always lived abroad and am wondering about going to live for a while. I would like to know where English people over 60 who appreciate English traditions live?

they live anywhere and everywhere ... I'm not sure what you mean by "appreciate English traditions", if you mean stuck in the pre-war or Victorian era then you might be in for a shock, many older people in England have moved with the times ... however you might find what you're looking for in a county town or city, not too big, places like Salisbury spring to mind

Many of the coastal towns in West sussex such as Eastbourne, East Anglia...Spain is a favourite...as the climate is nicer and many sell property in England and buy propery in Spain cheaper usually and retire there living off the profits...Hastings as well in Sussex...

English people over 60 live anywhere. Incidentally, 60 + is not really old in England. Remember, people who lived through the "swinging '60's are now approaching 70. They listen to rock music and go on adventure holidays!
