What do I need to do to do my masters in an american university? I live in England now.?

Im currently doing a BA at university in england. I have always wanted to move to america, and was thinking about doing my masters there - how do i go about this? How long does a masters take to complete over there? Would I need any other qualification than my degree? Does the application process require an interview, an essay or anything else? Thanks.

1) Take a look at university websites for information on how to apply to that school as an international student. 2) Master's degrees can range from 1-3 years, depending on the program. Nothing else is required for to earn a master's degree perhaps some pro-bono work if applicable to the program. 3) You will need: Foreign school transcripts evaluated, proof of financial funds, two letters of recommendation, resume, GRE or GMAT scores and a personal statement. Interviews are usually not necessary but that depends on the school and the program.
