If a child has a British Passport can they enter and live in England without a visa?

The children were born in the USA to a US citizen and a British citizen and are only 1 and 2 years old.

It depends upon the status of the parents. If mum is British and the father a US national then the answer is an automatic yes as the child will be a British Citizen. If the mother is a US national and the father is British, it will then depend upon the immigration status of the mother. Normally, if the couple are married the child would qualify as a British Citizen. The nationality laws were changed in 1982 to prevent the offspring of unmarried men from gaining British Citizenship. Possibly due to the wild antics of British seamen.

Sure. Their nationality is British as evidenced by their passport (under Nationality it will say British citizen).
