Where are good places to live in England?
Where are good places to live in England. It is my wife and I and 4 kids. We want a place that has good schools, a place that is safe and friendly. a place that has moderate shopping (like your basic shopping centers and resturaunts and some scattered shops) and is near a place with BIG shopping. when I say near I mean less then an hours drive. I want a city or town that I can buy a house and have a yard and lots of neighbors and where my kids can play in the yard. PLEASE give me names of cities and what is good about them and any BIG cities they are near and about how far.

I cant see why you'd want to come here its great in the countryside but the citys are pants, and so is the weather. i think Chester in chesire sounds about right for you.

Anywhere outside the M25 around London, There are many Towns also Countryside with a Short drive to a Local Town or a Bit longer Drive and you are in the Big City

depends on what sort of life style you want, anything near london is a lot more hectic and fast passed, surbertin is just outside london but big enough to have all you want. if you want something more relaxed i would recomend on of the suberbs of cardif up in wales, still a big city but much more laid back.

Deepends what sort of lifestyle you prefer...If you want to have fun all year round i would suggest you to live in London near Leicester Square where all the fun takes place everyday. If you prefer more calm lifestyle but dont want to be too far from the capital i would suggest you to try Chelmsford its a very lovely place. But if you dont have to be too near the capital then go to Norwich its beautiful in there .

Try Market Drayton in Shropshire or Wistastaston or Nantwich in Cheshire. Both really nice places, walkable to shops, close to "big" shopping areas.

boy come to n.somerset we have the biggest asda in the world at cribbs causeway the m5 run right by it come to the south west boy its great here
