As far as living in America vs. England. It depends on the job you have.

I live in America, and I live with someone who moved from England a couple years ago. By far, England is better. People are more civilized, and classy, and there is less corruption. Here, health care is rare, and people dye everyday because they can't afford life saving medication, and medical procedures and care. America is a greedy cesspool of underachievers. I know that's though, but look how this economic depression started. I would do anything to live in England, and in a few years, I probably will.

Canada safer than any other place right now

For quality of life, Sweden is rated the best country in the world to live in. Canada is also a fabulous country to live in. I've lived both on the east side of the country and the west. Vancouver, Canada was voted the most "livable city in the world" in January 2008. I grew up in Canada and currently live here. England is far superior to the US to live in. The people are more polite, respectful, easier to talk to. There are less job opportunities than in the States, but England's crime rate is much lower as well. If I had to choose between England or anywhere in the US, I would choose England for sure.
