I'm from England but I would love to be able to go to an American university but I'm not sure about how I would apply for a place or a scholarship etc can anyone help?

You complete the same application that domestic students complete. You will however have to supply financial information in order to obtain your I-20. Each University has a different amount that a student must show as accessible to them for college costs. You can not get federal or state financial aid but you can apply for scholarships from the University you are attending or for private loans in your home country.

It should be the same but you would have to check on your application that your not a citizen of the united states. Then you would have to get a student visa. If you want more info on getting accepted to college or paying for it check out this site:

I hope you understand that to go to the USA as an international student costs from $30,000 to $65,000 per year.And you cannot earn any of this money from within the USA. Also note that some private US schools may give up to about $30% off in the form of a scholarship.
