I'm an American who is fascinated with England. I'm still young, only 15, a freshmen in high school, who dreams of living there. So in my future, how can I be successful and be able to over seas? I know I can accomplish my dream someday but I want some tips. Thanks. I mean sometime in the future.

Come over on a study visa. Go to the Border and Immigration Agency website and look at your options there.

i feel the same way, i suggest that you try to study abroad first, just to make sure you like it. There are many sites that can do high school exchanges, but a good one is intrax, they offer many different programs such as semesters, full year, and summer programs. That way you really know if you like it, and after that if you still do try to look at a few colleges over there, the more schooling there the better

1) Try to get qualifications which will be accepted in England (e.g. some US universities are respected here, but others are not) and idealy in a field where there is a shortage of skilled staff here. 2) Make sure you do not get a criminal record, which can make getting immigration clearance difficult. 3) It may help to keep in touch with current events here - try looking at www.bbc.co.uk/news, the UK's main news website.

You can view the England immigration laws at http://www.britainusa.com to find out what kind of visa's are available to you. You should do it as soon as possible because the border laws are tightening up ALL the time. Good luck dear
